Cagliari or bust.
Our last port of call is Cagliari, which is the capital of the Italian Island of Sardinia, only about 20 or so miles away from Corsica, where we called earlier in the cruise, and indeed both look very similar, Sardinia is quite a bit bigger, but doest look to be as hilly certainly from where we are. The town itself is made up of two parts, the old part which was a walled town perched on the top of a hill, and then as the town has grown in Importance it has spread outwards, and now is quite a large urbanisation. Our first project was to find a tat shop, to get the memorabilia for this leg of our trip, and with it being a Sunday I a mainly Catholic country, we thought that could have been a bigger problem thhsn it turned out to be. As we only arrived here at 12 noon we then opted to try out one of the local restaurants, I tried a frid fish platter and grilled veg, and Perdita had mashed potato and mint ravioli and a side salad.
